You can use solid yarns, making the top of the dress one color and the ruffle another. Barbie will have several sun dresses if you vary each one a little!
These free crochet doll clothes patterns can be used to create a vacation get-away wardrobe.
Use your imagination and add a ribbon and or flower. Here are a few suggestions:
1) Using a 1/8 or 1/4 inch wide satin ribbon, weave it just above the hat rim. Tie a bow, and you now have a fabulous sun hat!
2) Add a flower on top of the bow - or even without a ribbon.
3) Weave a satin ribbon just above the dress ruffle. Tie one bow, or randomly tie several bows around the edge just above the dress ruffle.
